Which deployment option should we choose?
This depends on your organisation’s IT strategy, security requirements, and internal capabilities. IDU supports on-premise, private cloud, and managed cloud deployments.
Is functionality different across deployment models?
No. IDU delivers the same functionality regardless of how it is deployed.
Where is data stored in the cloud?
In IDU Cloud deployments, data is hosted within Microsoft Azure environments, typically located in the region closest to your organisation.
Who is responsible for security?
For on-premise and private cloud deployments, your IT team or hosting provider manages infrastructure security. For IDU Cloud, infrastructure security is managed within the Azure environment, with application-level security managed within IDU.
Can IDU scale as we grow?
Yes. IDU supports adding users, entities, and functionality over time, without requiring a full reimplementation.
