ABOUT INTERNATIONAL SLAB SALES
International Slab Sales (ISS) is a leading supplier of premium imported stone and engineered surfaces to the South African market. Founded in 2000, ISS has grown into a trusted name with multiple branches nationwide and a diverse customer base. The company employs over 130 people and proudly owns the Rudi’s Choice, Eezi Quartz and LUTUM brands, while also holding the exclusive distribution rights for Caesarstone and Infinity Surfaces in Southern Africa.
THE BUSINESS CHALLENGE
Before adopting IDU, ISS faced the same challenges common in finance teams that relied heavily on spreadsheets. Consolidating budgets from multiple cost centres was time-consuming, prone to errors and inaccessible to non-financial users. Managers often struggled to find and interpret the information they needed, leading to delays and inefficiencies in decision-making.

THE SOLUTION
ISS implemented IDU-Concept in 2013. The finance and budgeting modules have enabled the business to break down budgets into detailed line items, moving beyond the “last year plus five percent” approach. Managers across the company now have the ability to view and interact with financial data directly, with intuitive access and simple navigation.
