Kevin
Kevin Phillips - CEO

Kevin is an entrepreneur who has built a successful business. As a result, he has a solid understanding of the challenges and questions business owners face. He has degrees in Commerce and Accounting, and started idu with partners James Smith and Wayne Claassen in 1998. Kevin is fast becoming a thought leader in his field, and makes regular comment in the media about current affairs affecting business, as well as accounting, finance, budgeting and software. He is a columnist for Accountancy South Africa and Tech Leader, and has been featured in Sunday Times, Business Day, Enterprise Risk, Succeed and Entrepreneur. He is also a guest speaker on Radio 702, Kaya FM and Summit TV. 


Wayne
Wayne Claassen - COO

Wayne is one of the founding partners of idu, along with Kevin Phillips and James Smith. Wayne has a degree in Financial Information Systems and has held positions in systems audit, financial systems and web development. As the director of the Customer Implementation and Support division of idu, he is responsible for ensuring that new and existing customers get the most from their investment in the idu product set through an exceptional team of consultants and support staff. 
James
James Smith - CIO

James Smith co-founded idu with partners Kevin Phillips and Wayne Claassen in 1998. With a National Diploma in IT, specialising in commercial software development, he fulfils the business role of software development. James has been instrumental in the growth of idu resources, technology and products.

Margie
Margie Whitten

Margie has been part of the idu SA team since 2000. Margie holds an IMM qualification and had many years of management experience within the IT services industry before joining idu. She is responsible for the idu footprint in the KZN region and the ever-expanding footprint into East Africa. Margie has a particular passion for the idu Revenue Module, and performs the dual role of sales and consulting manager. 

Jackie
Jackie Drennan

Jackie’s previous accounting and lecturing experience combined with her B-Comm qualification has added great value to the idu KZN team since she joined to head up the consulting element in KZN. The forward thinking of Jackie and Margie as a team provides the client base with solutions to some unique requirements

George Phillips

George joined the idu team in 2005 as the founder of idu New Zealand Limited. George holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and had many years of management experience in the services industry before joining idu. George plays a highly strategic and administrative role within the successful Asia Pacific region and is now moving his attentions to breaking into the UK market. He and Rob are responsible for the steady and strong growth of idu footprint in the Asia Pacific region.  


Rob Jones

New Zealand based Rob has been involved in selling and implementing Accounting and Finance systems for longer than he cares to admit. With degrees in Law and Commerce, he left New Zealand to see the world and finished up living in Cape Town for 26 years, where he became a committed idu Business Partner, a commitment which has continued with his moving back to New Zealand about 5 years ago. Rob is passionate about process improvement – helping organisations perform more efficiently and effectively through properly applied technology – exactly the area idu provides its range of premium solutions.

R.S. Moni

Moni is a Chartered Accountant with 25 plus years’ experience in MEA markets – strategic planning, auditing, financial management, budgeting, ISO certification and ERP implementations. Moni is also the past President of Emirates Toastmasters Club in Dubai, part of the global Toastmasters Organization. 


Shobha Moni

Shobha has an MBA from IIM (Indian Institute of Management) and has an international background in business development for Enterprise software from Oracle, SAP and Sage in MEA markets for over 25 years. She is a CRM champion, thought leader and key note speaker in ICAI and IIR Shobha is an experienced entrepreneur with a successful track record in setting up new business ventures in software services and leading business growth for CMM level 5 companies in India and MEA.

Kulvinder Reyatt

Kulvinder heads up idu United Kingdom. He has a career spanning over 25 years as a specialist outsourcing and business development consultant, operating at Board level for the world’s largest BPO, outsourcing, digital transformation and systems integration enterprises. Kulvinder is also the founder of Brite Advice a company supporting clients with business development, marketing, digital branding, HR, outsourcing and legal requirements in various market sectors in the UK and internationally  


David Turner

David is an internationally experienced outsourcing and change director with more than 35 years in the IT and Business Process Services industry across public and commercial sectors. With a history in designing, delivering and procuring both IT and Business Process Outsourcing services to meet business requirements, together with the management of budgets that exceed £100M, and operational management of multi-national IT and commercial organisations. “David is well known in the industry for his ability to take on complex pursuits, where he has a rare ability to cross the C-Level commercial / business community with nitty gritty “chalk and talk” technologists.
